How Many Children do you reccommend? 

The Land of the Glass slipper does not have a location. It is something we are hoping to offer in the future for our families. 
We are able to help source venues to hold your child’s party if need be.

WHAT IS A CARRIAGE PARTY?

A Carriage Party is when we bring the party to your home! We pack a bag full of tutus, dresses, wands, tiaras, make up and nail polish to provide a party experience at your event. These parties typically last can last between 1-3 depending on your package  and are subject to a travel fee outside of Orangeville. We also bring music suited for the party theme, and a portable music player. This will include 1 princess and an helper. Additional Princesses/Characters are $70 extra.

WHAT TYPE OF SPACE DO PERFORMERS NEED AT A CARRIAGE PARTY?

Somewhere to sit for make up application and nail painting. An open space for dancing. A quiet space with no competing noise or games (including TV, Movies, Video Games, etc.) A table for table settings (if desired.)

How many children do you recommend attend a PARTy?

We recommend up to 10 children for 1 character and up to15 for 2 characters. This allows our performers to effectively complete all the activity’s included in our packages. If you have more children attending than the recommended amount please let us know ahead of time for adequate planning. 

HOW DO I PAY?

We take a deposit upon booking any parties or appearances to secure your time slot. We then collect the balance at the end of the party. For our big events, such as Mother’s Day Tea, we require full payment in advance. Any and all payments can be made by Cash, Cheque or eTransfer. You are also more than welcome to tip any of our performers if you feel they’ve done an outstanding job, we simply ask that you give it to us discreetly.

DO YOU DO BOY’S PARTIES? / WHAT DO YOU HAVE FOR BOYS ATTENDING PARTIES?

We want to make everyone feel included, and therefore offer Prince Charming, Pirates, Peter Pan, Super Hero’s, Mario and Paw Patrol. We also offer tattoos while the girls get their make up and nails done, (boys are also more than welcome to have their makeup and nails done!) and costume trunk full of boys outfits ranging in everything from fire fighters to Knights! We do however recommend inviting at least 2 boys to your guest list.

CAN YOU DO *INSERT THEME OR CHARACTER HERE*?

YES! We love working with clients to make any and all dreams come true! However, depending on the labour involved with costuming, decorating, and developing new games and activities, these parties may be subject to additional costs. In the past we have done themes such as Dance, Barbie, Karaoke, Twilight, and even once had a Fortune Teller attend a party!

DO YOU DO OTHER EVENTS BESIDES JUST BIRTHDAYS?

Why yes! We have hosted our own events in the past, but are also available to hire for your events. This might include having a Princess attend a bridal shower or wedding to entertain the child guests, or even hiring a few characters for a corporate event (you can contact us directly for our corporate rates!)

DO YOU PROVIDE INVITATIONS / LOOT BAGS?

We can if this is something you would like! We strive to make our birthday parties enjoyable for your child and easy for YOU! Add-On’s will be subject to an additional fee based on the clients specific requests. 

Our performers take their work seriously. Should you run into one of them out of costume in a town, we ask that you do not point them out to your child. Likewise, should you be acquainted with one of our staff members and see them in costume at a party or event, please refer to them as their character’s name and refrain from asking them any questions that force them out of character. These small things keep the magic alive and make for the most believable experience for your child.
